When I was at university, I really wanted to become a project manager, assuming back then that complex initiatives could primarily be steered technically and through structured planning. Over the years, I realized that organizations—especially those undergoing transformation—function very differently: not deterministically, but in human, dynamic, and highly interconnected ways. The real levers rarely lie in tools or processes, but in how people work together.
This insight has shaped me and gradually led me into leadership roles: empathy, clarity, and strong communication are, for me, essential competencies today. I bring this same perspective to my work on AI and leadership: technology changes a lot, but it only becomes effective when people have orientation, learn together, and leadership is actively shaped.
