Format: digital/analog
One to six-day action-oriented program that can be individually configured and conducted both online and on-site
For leaders who want to explore new forms of leadership and collaboration
Because, in increasingly complex environments, traditional forms of leadership and cooperation are reaching their limits. New leadership is needed to keep teams motivated, to take the pressure off managers and for the company to continue to be successful with its own products and services for external or internal customers.
The modules contained in this format are designed in such a way to allow for customization of the content and scope - from a taster day with a Quick Check, to a three-day compact course, all the way to a six-day program integrating consolidation modules and time to explore between the individual sessions. All modules can be conducted on-site or online, or as a combination of the two (blended learning).
The starting point is the "Characteristics of Transformative & High-Performance Organizations" - the distillation of more than 90 Learning Journeys in 7 countries with the focus on "New Forms of Leadership and Collaboration." This model, in conjunction with our New Work Box, forms the basis for the training and implementation consulting services we deliver for our clients.
The table on page 2 shows packages that can be booked with different focal points and time scales.
Relevance to your own organizational context is ensured through the initial as-is assessment and through the selection of the appropriate tools from the New Work Box. Participants receive access to our online learning platform "P1 Academy" for the entire duration of the program (1-6 days) with small morsels of learning for preparation/follow-up, consolidation and learning transfer opportunities.
Where required, we also provide individual coaching sessions to support learning transfer.

Leadership, Leadership teams, teams, departments, areas
Format: analog/digital
1-2 day field trip to organizations from other sectors to gain inspiration from innovative, disruptive ideas.
Leaders, leadership teams, departments, divisions
VUCA is here and now. Current forms of collaboravirtual·tion and hybri organizational structure deliver ever fewer answers t• o the complex requirements an organization faces. In particular, the development
of indicators such as time to market, customer satisfaction,
employee satisfaction or productivity indicate that the prevailing organizational models are becoming less and less fit for purpose.
Driving change and innovation, embracing entrepreneurial shared ownership, and thinking disruptively and creatively are just a few of the demands that are increasingly being placed on leaders at all levels. “Stewing in one’s own juices” frequently leads to familiar thought patterns become entrenched, making finding solutions for these requirements extremely difficult. The Learning Journey systematically interrupts these patterns and new ways of thinking are stimulated.
The organizations are visited with concrete questions in mind, but above all with a sense of curiosity and open-mindedness. Intensive preparation creates a professional framework and provides space for spontaneity. And everything is done from a position of equals – no flashy PowerPoint shows but an open exchange of views on the highs and lows of different transformation processes.
The Learning Journey is planned and carried out by the participants themselves as part of their learning experience. Process One acts as an experienced sparring partner, facilitator and critical scrutinizer in the preparation and follow-up phases as well as during the Learning Journey. Intensive preparation and follow-up ensures that the participants are exposed to the greatest extent possible to new, unfamiliar and possibly uncomfortable aspects. Depending on the objective in focus, the participants are provided with suitable methods and instruments to enable them to absorb as much inspiration as possible and develop the maximum number of specific approaches to finding solutions.

Leaders
Format: digital
Multi-modular virtual format supplemented by asynchronous learning and transfer units on our digital learning platform
For leaders who want to adapt the way they collaborate to the new parameters and develop them to be fit for the future
Because, so far, only one is certain: there is no going back to the situation before March 2020. The future of leadership and collaboration is here. Now! How can we actively shape it? What needs to be considered in the New Normal? Working from home? Limited space in the office? Virtual communication and meetings? New tools? Changed workflows? Time to re-organize!
For most teams, future collaboration is a true change process. More important to establishing a new form of self-organization and teamwork will be, among other things, trust, changed communication, and focus on transparency. In this training format we first shine a light on: Why are these aspects in particular what will make collaboration and leadership successful in the future? We support you with tools, application and reflection activities, and sharing of experience.
The virtual format “Suddenly Remote Work?!” supports the evolution away from a face-to-face to a blended collaboration culture. In addition to new tools and processes, this also means developing a new mindset and additional skills. The starting point for this are the individuals and their organizational environment.
The format can be conducted as a supplement to ongoing development programs or on an organization-specific basis. Your organizational context (culture, level of digitalization, organization, sector, etc.) is an important part of the format. The 6 modules take half a day each and are ideally organized as 3 learning days with one week transfer time each between the live web sessions. The participants are given access to our virtual academy, which provides blinks (such as impulses, short films, reflection questions) to help them prepare as well as for follow-up and consolidation. Ideal group size: 8. Where required, we additionally offer 1-on-1 coaching sessions.

Expedition Next Organization is a consulting format that, over a period of 9 months, paves the way for a new organizational form.
For all organizations ready and willing to transform.
VUCA is here and now. Current forms of collaboration and organizationality deliver ever fewer answers to the complex requirements organizations face. In particular, the development of metrics such as time to market, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction or productivity indicate that prevailing organizational models are becoming less and less fit for purpose.
We set off on the journey together. You bring your determination and your mandate, we bring our experience, curiosity and a treasure trove of tools.
After a joint As-Is Assessment of your current situation and insight into the characteristics of transformative and high-performing organizations, we progress to Transformation Phase 1, involving iterations and pilots ifor processes, tools, principles, roles... We will return to these collaborative elements again and again in the course of the expedition.
In the second phase, we decide together whether you will renew, change or abolish your structures and elements of the organization. In our experience, a few courageous decisions need to be made at this point. Once that succeeds, Transform Phase 2 begins. At the end of this phase, the organization is capable of steering the further process of development itself.
The expedition lasts nine months. Our recommendation: undertake intensive analysis of whether you want to set off on this journey. On the other hand, not doing it is no alternative.
Why nine months? The journey will release – and require – a lot of energy. There will be emotionality, confusion and quite a bit of “heavy stuff.”
This means that, during this time, a lot of resources will point inwards. In order to safeguard the outward view (environment, market, customers) and to increase the probability of success, we recommend an intensive, imperfect and chronologically concentrated process.

Leadership teams / teams
Format: analog
2-day gamification boot camp with hands-on business simulation and transfer of learning to own organizational reality.
Teams, departments, who want to boost their collaborative performance or would like to learn new forms of leadership and collaboration.
The pressure on organizations is increasing noticeably. Teams need ideas about how to re-organize to be successful in complex environments. The Boot Camp adopts the principle of “first do it, then talk about it” and ensures that teams become emotionally receptive to the principles of New Work. Collectively, the teams determine which methods they will bring back with them when they return to their normal working lives.
Many teams have recognized the need for agility. But where and how should they start? Knowledge of New Work is frequently very heterogeneous.
The Boot Camp concept enables us to actively address our complex environment as a part of changing conditions. At the start, we clarify the origin and development of agile elements. We complete the first part by conducting an As-Is Assessment in order to quickly begin experimenting.
The Boot Camp shows how teams collaborate in complex environments in a spirit of trust and success. New Work methods are experienced, tried out and trained in a hands-on manner.
Result: methods and principles that can be used in our working lives and contribute to the targeted development of the characteristics of transformative and high-performance organizations.
The Boot Camp is an essential component of the (agile) transformation of teams and departments. It is suitable for experienced and inexperienced groups.
During the Boot Camp, the teams determine which tools, principles and methods they will use or try out in their normal working lives and decide on the first concrete steps for implementing them.
Depending on the situation, our agile coaches will then support the teams in implementing the selected methods and, in addition, in further developing their own organizational operating system.

2.5 - 3 days
Leadership teams / teams
Format: analog
2.5-day experiential workshop in which you explore the principles of effective leadership and collaboration in a VUCA envronment.
Leaders and their teams or (leadership) teams who would like to increase their level of self-organization and effectiveness.
Leadership and collaboration in uncertain VUCA environments require continual monitoring and regular reaction to changing situations. Knowing this is one thing, experiencing it at first hand and as a team at sea on a yacht and turning this knowledge into concrete action is quite another. Learning doesn’t get any more real than this.
Through “Anchors away” we have developed a format that enables the elements of a VUCA world to be experienced more keenly than any other simulation. In real time, the participants experience how tides, wind and weather ensure they discover what self-organization in complex environments means. They learn together how to self-organize, an experience that is the pre-requisite for development and change – the basis for future-proofed organizations.
The participants’ day is structured by specific assignments on board. In iterative sprints and through self-organization, the crew discover the agile methods, from sprint planning to sprint execution to review. Following this, the participants work together to reach valuable conclusions and understandings for their business lives.
We develop with you a framework for your individual “Achors away!” package. Together, we develop your specific goal, where and how the format will take place and what you need to be aware of. We help you to organize and provide a sailing yacht and skipper, where required.
The idea is that all crews steer all processes independently throughout while of course remaining within legal and safety-related parameters. Through the self-organized process, they discover the advantages and disadvantages and the real-life relevance of individual New Work elements and jointly develop specific agreements for collaboration and leadership.
3 x 3 days plus optional learning units
Experienced leaders
Format: blended learning
You learn new, leading edge methods for structuring leadership and collaboration in complex/turbulent business contexts.
Leaders with real-life knowledge and experience of the leadership role (e.g. former participants of a Process One leadership program).
VUCA is here and now. Current forms of leadership and collaboration are decreasingly able to provide answers to the complex demands placed on organizations. In particular, the development of metrics such as time to market, ability to innovate or even the need for remote leading indicate that prevailing organizational models are becoming less and less functional.
Through New Work Leader for experience leaders we have deliberately adopted an intensive experiential learning journey lasting several months. Why? Following the intensive experience of the first module, the participants get to apply their new knowledge in their daily working lives and, in the process, achieve their first successes and experience their first setbacks. In the second module, we go into greater depth on their practical method toolbox and, in the third module, the develop the specifics of their personal roadmap for the phase.
Through countless visits to disruptive innovative organizations, we have discovered what makes forward-looking organizations so successful: through these “characteristics of transformative and high-performance organizations” the participants will create their own roadmap and find the right tool in the “New Work Box.”
The 3-module leadership program for leaders in the New Work environment benefits from the right amount of group-aligned trainer input, personal experimentation and experience, intensive reflection and trusting peer-group dialog. Our digital learning platforms can supplement the program between modules and intensify the learning success (such as further model input, videos, literature, reflection questions). Accompanying peer-to-peer dialog in buddy/peer groups often results in long-term stable bonds among the participants. It is not uncommon to hear “best training ever.”

Teams, departments, etc.
Format: blended learning/analog
All in one and yet individual: intensive training + insightful learning journey + sustainable implementation.
Leadership teams, departments, units, groups who want to go on a journey together.
Agility and New Work are on everyone’s lips - or you could even say sometimes “sucked dry.” Very few organizations know what really lies behind the jargon and what relevance the individual elements have for their work. There is no one right way, but many different starting points, contexts, goals. We explore this in depth.
Through our “Ramp Up” format we support organizations on their journey to agile ways of working and structures. And we take our role seriously: anyone who wants to be agile must do agile. Even in training and right from Module 1, we test, explore, and develop solutions interactively and give feedback. Depending on the needs of the group, we continually adapt the contents and connect them to the participants’ specific challenges.
Between Module 1 #Discover #Learn and Module 2 #DeepDive #Implement, you organize your learning journey. Now well equipped, Module 2 takes you to the New Work Boot Camp, a business simulation with complex challenges in store for you. After an assessment of your current situation, you return to everyday life with a wealth of ideas and tools.
The mix of training, experimentation and self-organization requires a high degree of maturity from the group – we often experience how participants really surpass themselves. The individual speed and intensity of the program results leads to a high level of commitment and a great sense of belonging among the participants.
Depending on the need, our agile coaches will subsequently support the teams in implementing the selected methods and, in addition, in further developing their own organizational operating system.

Scrum Masters
Format: analog/digital
In 2 days, we work in short content sprints and, above all, using concrete practical examples.
Experienced Scrum Masters who want to increase their effectiveness in their organization.
The Scrum Master plays a diverse role in organizations. The role is not always clearly defined or properly and purposefully delineated from other roles. We reflect on the role, responsibility, attitude and peer status as servant leader, and help the participants communicate in a goal-oriented manner with their organization.
Alternating between short input sessions and discussions on concrete examples from daily working life, we stay very close to the participants’ real challenges as leaders. We start with the special aspects of leadership the role of the Scrum Master brings with it, highlight specific conflicts and, in the final session, take an intensive look inside.
The participants receive specific tools and benefit from the comprehensive experience of the trainers and other participants.
Short learning units between the sessions enable participants to consolidate what they have learned and familiarize themselves with new issues – at the time of their choosing. In this way, the sessions, daily working life and short learning units are optimally interlinked to enable iterative implementation of what has been learned.
The “Leadership Skills for Scrum Masters” training course is aimed at those individuals responsible for successfully incorporating Scrum into their companies. The participants should

A blended learning format: 4 online sessions, 1.5 days in-person training and short learning units over approximately 3 months.
Leaders who want to align their area of responsibility with a view to the future and see potential in New Work principles / agile methods
Viable organizationality needs new ways of thinking. If you have the impression that the current management methods and principles are no longer fit for purpose in your area of responsibility and the way in which they are organized are no longer suitable for increasing complexity, then this is the right format for you.
This format gives the participants a structured overview of the development and the current state of discussion on New Work and agility. The participants learn about the success factors of viable organizationality and test a number of agile methods and New Work principles in their own organization during the qualification phase. In this way, the participants find the individual approach that is just right for their organization.
The intensive support with professional input, experimentation and discussion provides the best possible dovetailing with the participants’ own working lives. After the individual assessment of their own area of responsibility, the specific next steps are defined, tested out and repeatedly fine-tuned.
This training course is a blended learning format that accompanies the participants for about 3 months. During this time, participants must be willing to try out individual elements in their own working lives, to experiment and to embrace new approaches and to report back on them. After the virtual opening module, we meet for the in-person module to experience agile working and agile organizationality. As the module progresses, participants receive in-depth input on the various topics and transfer tasks. We meet regularly online to clarify questions, share experiences and receive further inspiration.

3-hour compact workshop
Management, management teams, leadership teams, departments, project teams
Are you wondering whether you are fit for the future in your area of responsibility? Do you have the impression that the established instruments for structuring leadership and collaboration are becoming less and less effective and, in the meantime, have even become counterproductive? This could be because your organizational environment is becoming increasingly more complex.
Complex environments are expressed in a number of ways: The requirements placed on services or products are changing with greater frequency, even within the development process, decisions must be made more quickly and more frequently while uncertainty grows, tried-and-trusted approaches to leadership and collaboration are losing effectiveness. VUCA - volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity - seems to be everywhere. It's time to find to assess where you stand!
Where and how to start? The compact workshop offers you and your leader colleagues a way of fighting through the jungle of possibilities. The characteristics of transformative and high-performance organizations gives you an insight into the culture of successful organizations. The As-is Assessment creates clarity and opens your eyes to opportunities for each action.
After the compact workshop you will have a precise picture of where you stand, what you should develop in terms of culture, which behavioral patterns and tools will support or hinder the development process and what the next development steps can be.
The desired side effect: We demystify terms like agility, VUCA, New Work and digital leadership and show that there is a lot of pragmatism and usefulness behind the jargon if you are willing to embrace them.
You want more? Then let's head to our Expedition Next Organization, the journey to your Next Organization.
